Our cacao paste celebrates the rich flavours and unique medicinal qualities of Pacific cacao. PNG paste is made at origin, while Solomon Islands and Vanuatu beans are stone-ground with care at our Cacao Embassy in Christchurch. Each origin has been nutritionally analysed, offering not just taste but targeted support. Yes, it’s ceremonial grade—but it’s also your daily ritual, your gentle uplift, your hug in a mug. Pure, potent, and deeply connected to the trees and communities it comes from.

We’re proud to be the first company to ship value-added cacao products from the Pacific—crafted with integrity, transparency, and a whole lot of love. Our cacao powder, butter, and liquor are made from beans sourced directly from our partner communities and processed either in-country or at our Embassy. Available in both retail packs and bulk volumes, these offerings are pure, practical, and made to support a new future for Pacific cacao.

The Cacao Ambassador, Únagh de Brún, is the original heart and founder of this movement — a bridge between cacao-growing communities in the Pacific and the people of Aotearoa, between ancestral wisdom and contemporary care.
While the day-to-day work of the Cacao Embassy NZ is now held by Mark, Jeff, and Ngawai — anchoring the space, sharing cacao, and making the dream tangible across the country — Únagh walks the ground in the Pacific. Her work is with the farmers, the families, and the land, restoring the broken threads between the growers of cacao and the deeper truth of what they carry.
